May 30, 2013

Hi.

Some of you may know I write songs, but I haven't released any of them in a while. Well, I changed that today.

A few months ago, I wrote a pop-rock song (called May 30, 2013) in Logic Express, and I released it today. It would be great if you could give it a listen.

Feedback is welcome.

Listen/Download on Bandcamp (Download link says "Buy Now" but will accept any positive integer or float price, including $0.00)
Listen/Download on Soundcloud

(sorry that i didn't put anything else in this post i feel like i should talk more about it but i don't have anything else to say)

Cool (and unintentional)! It's also something else for me but I can't exactly say it online because it would say private information about me.

This is a pretty nice song. It fits the summer (which of course, May 30th is in  tongue ), which is perfect because I am at the beach right now.  smile

You realize the summer starts around June 21st or so and MAy is before June so May 30th 2013 is going to be this spring right?

It may not be part of the calendar summer, but it definitely is summer weather-wise (at least around where I live).

In this case, the  tongue  signified that I was stating what should be obvious (by common sense and context clues).

I refuse to bow to your vague and unrestricted definition of summer that you consider "obvious"

Nice music. I like sound, except I think the treble needs to be more sparkly, and maybe you could add some vocals  tongue

Thanks for the feedback! Which instrument are you referring to by treble?

Sounds, therefore music, is composed of different frequencies. High frequencies are referred to as treble, low frequencies as bass, anything in between as medium range, alto, etc.

Maybe if you used some sort of equaliser to bring up the treble a bit more, it would sound clearer  smile

how incredibly condescending of you!
if you looked on his page you would notice that he's not exactly new to music, but he wanted clarification on where you would draw the line between a high and medium frequency, as your comment wasn't exactly clear; how does one make the treble "sparkle"?

Please keep this topic focused on the music and not on each other's feedback.  If there was a misunderstanding about what the original poster was looking for, let's let the original poster clear it up.

I think that it would be awesome if the release date was May 30, 2013.
