Actually, your story can be as long as you'd like it, and yes, you have to include all.

But robots could just be a small piece of machinery that does some cool thing, not a giant humanoid robot with laser guns and all.

Correct Formatting

This is a demonstration of how to format your book, I'll show you the wrong way and the right way:

Wrong Way
There once was a guy who lived in a house. He liked the house a lot and didn't want to move away from it forever.

But one day the guy said, "Oh!" as his house shook, and fell over. He cried all day and night and wouldn't stop, even though the police told him to.

The guy never saw his beloved house again, even though he tried to rebuild it with its original blueprints.

Right Way
