No, you'll have to wait until the final update when they update the database to allow users from after 13-1-16.

You don't even have to download anything go to beta.scratch.mit.edu, login and click create!
Pretty sure we all knew that
That is pretty cool though, and I am actually most excited or a downloadable version once the full release hits.

When is the next update coming so that i can log in

They don't update it, unless there's a new release such as alpha beta or full, and the full's not coming for a while.

I have a suggestion... Output noise (decibles)? like [noise] but instead of what's coming in, what's going out. I cant log on to beta I have been using it for over a year, but before that I didn't see the point in making an account. Love beta, though!

i really don't understand why it's taking so long to do this
if it is down to people not having time then it should be made fully open source
i find it quite frustrating encouraging people to use scratch 1 when i know it will mean people/kids will learn bad programming habits such as repeating code etc

It would also be helpful if there was a frequency level detector for all audio sources. People could make audio visualizers that actually interact with the audio input!

You made an account after January 25th, 2013, the cutoff date for accounts admitted into beta. It is too hard to update both bases of Scratch, so there are no new accounts allowed into beta. Hopefully Scratch 2.0 will come out in its final version soon!

can you sign me up please?
You can visit it at beta.scratch.mit.edu, but since it looks like your account was made after 1/25, you won't be able to log in.

When will the beta time of Scratch 2.0 be over?

Is it normal that I cannot login with my Scratch 1.4 username and login? If I have to make a new acount, where do I sign up?
You created your account too late, sorry. You'll have to wait until the full release, or at least until the Scratch Team updates the database.
So when will they next update the database?

Hopefully, all of the bugs in 2.0 will be fixed, and the database will be updated, or, the Scratch Team will let another wave of testers into the beta site sometime in April, from what I've heard. We'll keep working hard and try to find bugs n the beta for the final release!
