Anyways, sort of off topic, my dad and I are planning to build a gaming PC (with a budget of $600).

The laptop desktop shown in that picture was about $700 and can run most games well, the average sort of game, well I don't actually have a scope for average game, but Torchlight II runs really well on all high settings, and I can generally get 128x MC texture packs to go without problems.
