What is the scratch design studio?

Hi,

I see that the front page has a section for "Scratch Design Studio".

I was wondering, what is that?

Thanks for stopping by,

The Scratch Design Studio (SDS) isn't what most people count as a "front page" but it is still on the front page. Every so often there is a new SDS. Each one has their own theme/rule to be followed. Some of them might be holiday related, like "Halloween," or some might be random, like the "Deep Sea" one. As long as the project fits the category, SDS curators will accept it into the SDS gallery. Once there, some of them are shown on the front page. I'm not sure if its random or the most recent three, but either way, everyone can have a chance to get into this gallery.

Re: What is the scratch design studio?

Basically, SDS is a gallery with it's own row on front page that displays randomly the projects in that gallery.  Each SDS has a new theme, and if you create a project of that theme and link it, it will be added to the current SDS (as long as it follows community guidelines).  If you want to suggest a theme, the gallery itself has a link in the project notes for it.

Hope this helps!

Welcome!  Also, if you see "Inventions" as a theme, that was mine.  big_smile   Still hoping!  I've only ever had, maybe, two projects for SDS; 1.x Memories and Super Heros.
