Airsoft is a recreational hobby that basically involves these replica guns that shoot plastic BBs.

I don't actually "play" airsoft, I have a shotgun though and I use it for soda can plinking in my backyard mostly. I am getting into the hobby though and am thinking of investing in a Beretta M9 full metal gas blowback pistol. >:D

Airsoft can be used for LARPing but it's mostly for matches like paintball, except mostly in a woodland setting and is a lot more slow-paced.
I've been trying to convince my friends to make action short films and stuff with airsoft guns but they won't. D:

My bro is obsessed.. He has little battles with his friends in the woods behind our place.

I have an airsoft gun too, although I hardly use it. 

I'll probably give it to my bro for his birthday..

If I was in that class I'd be in like heaven.
No one at my school is all that about airsoft, mostly boys talk about video games, sports, regular boyish topics, or real guns.    (yes I'll admit I do participate in such conversation)

Because I have an airsoft shotgun and am starting to get some new ones, my cousin's all "hurr durr you're obsessed with guns", but he said that when I was in that Nerf phase.

The average (stereotypical) airsoft player is kind of a massive jerk.

My friends that play are cool but I would not want a class where I was stuck with tons of people that play it.

I only meant that I'm interested in guns.
Because whenever I say that in real life, my mom freaks out because she's basically against anything that has to do with guns, and some other people say I'm "obsessed" with them.

Well, I don't necessarily like guns apart from video games and movies, but as long as you are mentally stable it should be fine!

I actually love airsoft. Me, 2 of my friends, and my brother play it. I currently own a full metal GBB 1911, a broken revolver, and a UTG L96 with homemade mods put in it. I basically know my L96 inside and out, so if you ever need advice on snipers, ask me. For gear I use digital woodland camo with a tactical vest, flakjak goggles and a bandana.
