There is a way but you cant convert games
You use a video recorder and record the animation or video and then put it in movie maker and export it!

Correct, but I believe the term "interactive multimedia" fits better, since it isn't just limited to games. 
Yeah, you can use a screen capture software.

Yeah. Use hypercam screen capture and record your video.
