Creating frames in Scratch

How do I create frames for a story? I would like to have 2 or 3 frames (the same background) with each having the Sprite doing something different in the story. I saw the video "Cow" in the projects page, and they were able to have the cow standing, switch frames to the cow sitting and eating a fruitcake, then the last frame with the cow laying on the ground. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Re: Creating frames in Scratch

Well, when you say frames, do you mean still pictures or frames as used in videos?

If you're wondering, still pictures are basically pictures with no motion.

Re: Creating frames in Scratch

I am more interested in making my short story have different scenes (such as on a tv show). There doesn't necessarily have to be motion, but I would like to be able to switch my backgrounds within a story.
