Okay, bye!

THat's an awesome idea! But maybe instead of just 1 balloon, maybe 2 or 3?

Yayayay! Thanks for the simple game idea. Can the theme for the arcade be neon over black, main colors maybe neon purple and... neon green? The font for it is all techno, like Harlow Solid Italic! Yah... I'll get an example to put the view into perspective.
@Ernie: No problem, I love your ideas. We're making a big arcade. That's the simplest I can put it

This was done quickly and in excitement, but you guys get the idea! The main menu could be like this!
Tell me what you think!

Yay! I have a suggestion. Maybe the project could be NL arcade and there are like loads of minigames to chose from. But anyway, do you want me to make a small-ish arcade game? If so then what kind?
You like read my mind. I was thinking it should be called "Northern Lights Arcade", and we should have some default minigames and then some unlock able ones.
Also, as the front post says, yes, each member(That now includes you, yes! ) is to make one minigame, and maybe more after that.
Me and funnymee will work on the menu, intro, and general interface stuff after we make our first ones.
Humhum: I love your banner design, keep it up!
iaoumeur: If you need ideas, then how a bout a simple game where you have a time limit and must paint as much of the screen as you can before time runs out? You could also have like randomly placed mines that if you run into it, you're dead. You could have a power up that makes your "pen" sprite mirror itself(Nomolos has that in a project, but i think you can figure it out. ). Then you could have the different difficulty levels change the amount of time you have and also the number of mines. An optional game mode could be that the mines are constantly moving, and you must survive, of course, in this mode theer is no time limit, and you have to paint the entire screen to win. Your time could be your score. The title could be "Paint Frenzy" or "Dier Strokes".
What do you think? My 1st one is going to be a simple game, and my other ones may be more complex, but still arcade.

IDEA FOR ANY MEMBER:
Stickman battle:
This would be a mildly violent game, where you face a red stickman in combat. The goal is to knock him into a warp, and his goal is to eliminate your HP. You could kick, jump, roll, and maybe punch. There can be random powerups. Your time is your score. If you could figure out the A.I., then you could do an alternitive mode where the comp is trying to knock you into a warp. And also a mode where you both have HP.
Hope you like it.

i have more details on my idea. you have a turret, and you fire this ball thing, it would have simple scrolling, several levels, and you try to get the ball to the goal. it would also have gravity. i have a button idea, with the name http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/estile/3175026
what do you think funnyme?

Won't it be hard to incorporate everybody's arcade game into one project? I'm no programmer, but I was in a collab once that did an OS thing like this, and some people found it hard downloading everything then exporting and importing and duplicating scripts and making it all work together. Remember, you have to make lots of variables, at least one for each game, then game tickets then prize tickets.
Idk if I just don't know how to do this or if it will be hard. Anyways, I hope we can make it work...

Well, yes, it will be hard, but we can do it... It wouldn't be as hard as the original Tribez, just more complicated.
Anyway, we would probably keep all the variables for the individual games in there buttons to make them local, and that would clean things up. And also, if me and funnymee agree on my idea for the main menu, then the design will be clean, and simple, and we shouldn't have many problems.
Good point though,

I think if we put a dead line on them, it will cause a lot of stress, so just as soon as you can i think. (Right, funnymee?)
Also, i am glad you like my idea, i wish you well with it. Who knows, NL Arcade may become really popular, and Stickman Battles may become the most popular.

Right, CAA14.
No deadline. TO much stress. (I'm already under sooo much...)

If you need ideas for yours game, ask funnymee323, CAA14, or ErnieParke.
- Somebody needs to create a game that allows you to collect prize tickets and game playing tickets. (OPEN! 1 PERSON ONLY!)
- Each game will cost 2 game tickets, and each prize is a different price or prize tickets. Like, a big teddy bear is 10 prize tickets, and a small stuffed animal is 5 prize tickets.
Hey, i hate to say this but, i don't think a teddy bear and stuffed animals is a good idea... Spending "Hard played for" tickets to look at a fake stuffed animal? Um, i don't think that sounds appealing, do you?
Instead, how about extra games, maybe unlock a character for a game, enhance the games, things like that. Once the games are made, we can modify them to match any upgrades they can buy.
What do you think?

Do I make it on 1.4 or 2.0?

I can try, as i am (Despite the label,) a new scratcher. You will need to build everything else though before i can.
Also, it may be awhile before i start my own, as i have some personal projects that need attention.
