Don't use the 3D for ages.
Ten minutes isn't "ages"
Personally, I can use it fine for as long as I want on full.

You hate 3D?
You should probably buy an eyepatch and tape it to one of your eyes or something. It would cure your depth-perception problem while also making you look like a pirate.

If you hate 3D, you hate life.
As in, uh, everything is 3D not to imply that 3D media effects are equivalent to one's love of their own life.

I like SM3DL.

It's rumored that a banjo-kazooie 3ds game is coming out!
Also, Mega man legends 3 was supposed to come out for the 3ds. It didn't come out because of INADEQUATE fan service. Really, capcom? RELEASE the game! Millions of people wanted it! What is your idea of an adequate fan base?
Anyway, I like Sm3dL. Mario kart 7 was a huge letdown, though still fun.

I'm 11. It happened last year actually. Since then, I decided to stay away from 3D. *Sniffle* Goodbye, 3D Movies...*Sniffle*
I'm pretty sure it's from the flashing lights, not 3D. 3D is just rendering ultra-highdef pictures so that each eye gets something slightly different.
@soupoftomato: Actually, the 3DS seems like a copy of the PSP in general.

@evo12: The PS Vita is really more of a small PS3, which yeah, is cool, but the 3DS is more of a mobile thing.

Are there any good sandbox games for the 3DS?
There will be in a few months, Scribblenauts Unlimited, the first two alone are amazing, but this one will include:
Combining of items (You can make things like a Toaster Car).
Free roaming.
Unlimited items can be on screen. (Mini robot wars, anyone?)
And a bunch more items, and adding a bunch to a bunch is truly amazing.
You see, Scribblenauts had about 100,000 different items.
Super Scribblenauts had about 500,000 plus 200,000 adjectives, up to 300+ adjectives can be put on an item at once, this makes for over 1,000,000,000+ different items.
Scribblenauts Unlimited will have ~800,000 items, 500,000 adjectives, more than one item can be put onto another item to make one, this makes for at LEAST 100,000,000,000 items, undoubtably the most ever in any sandbox game ever.

Has anyone tried to make a scratch 3ds game? http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kyle-elyk/2882185 This is my 3ds friend code and name AND a template to make a game for 3ds in scratch. Please someone use it, I want to see a good game being a huge 3ds fan and a scratch user.

I mostly just got it because regular DSes weren't getting games made for them anymore hahah.
I keep it off because it drains the battery and I move around so the screen just keeps getting blurry. But I got mine for the same reason :D

I got the 3ds and it has some amazing features. The graphics are bittersweet, with them being amazing and functional but also allowing some really weird glitches where objects will go through each other. I have two games right now - StarFox 64 3D and Mariokart 7. Neither of them are great games. StarFox 64 3D is basically the same game with better graphics and an improved sound track. Mariokart 7 has amazing gameplay mechanics, but the CPU of the game is incredibly annoying at 150cc and you have the worst item luck imaginable. I am more afraid of Green shells than Red shells. The other software is averaged out at slightly above average. The 3DS camera is amazing. I created a youtube channel just as an excuse to use it more. The sound recording? It's a good sound recorder, but is completely overshadowed by the fact that you can only record 10 seconds at a time, rendering it virtually useless. The Mii maker is slightly better than the Wii version. The Mii Plaza is pretty stupid, but I haven't come across a lot of people with a 3DS, so I won't complain. The E-shop I frequently use to get fun game demos, but I don't have any mony on it currently. AR games are actually pretty lame, and I rarely use the function. DS download is like the DS. Overall, If you can find some good games for this system, which so far, I haven't, it is definitely worth getting.
