We have Scratch 1.4 installed on Debian Wheezy in a school environment. Lot's of our pupils are saving projects and then getting an error message when they come to open them again:
'Could not read project; file may be damaged: (Message not understood: >)'
The files they have saved are on a network drive that is dismounted when they log off. I found similar problems in the forums that suggest it could be because of the way drives are dismounted.

However, I cannot reliably reproduce it. Some pupils work is fine, some is not. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, please ask if more information is required.
