Scratch 1.4 Release
Hello there fellow scratchers,
I was just wondering about the new scratch release. I don't know what the new scratch can do and i would just like to know what kinds of things you can do with scratch 1.4 than you could with scratch 1.3. I have already experimented a little bit with the ask feature but i don't know the capabilities of the string part of the new scratch becuase i have never used strings before, just a brief description of what strings are, how to use them, and anything else 1.4 can do.

Sure! I can at least tell you what strings are!
A "String" is a programming-term—it "Strings" things together.
In other words, it connects variables into a super-variable, sort-of.
It's a bit hard to explain, but that's about everything I know.
