Renaming sprites in Scratch 2.0
If it is possible to rename sprites in Scratch 2.0, I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. While I'm loving the new Scratch in general, I think this is a very important ability. I've been teaching with Scratch for 4 years now, and I've always made it a requirement that students choose meaningful names for their sprites. Being limited to Sprite1, Sprite2, Sprite3, ... etc. will prevent me from teaching students best practices. I'm assuming this will be fixed eventually. Any idea when?

Just click the little (i) in the top left corner of the sprite thumbnail.
In the future, it's better to post Scratch 2.0-related issues in the forums on the beta website, you're more likely to get your 2.0-related questions answered more quickly that way.
