Dogs wouldn't rip a rabbit's head off, they're incredibly gentle and kind animals, I find your statement there to be very biased.
I don't think cats would either, but still, you don't have to be that stuck up.

No actually I'm not.
At least, domesticated dogs wouldn't.
Wild dogs, certainly, they need food, right.

Not all dogs are kind and gentle animals, just like not all cats are kind and gentle animals. I like cats because they're more like people. I don't want a mindless servant to do whatever I say- I want a friend, someone who is independent and intelligent, but who can sit on my lap, purr, and warm me on a frosty, raining night. Lately I've especially been feeling close to cats, because we just got our mother cat and her two daughters fixed. We've been keeping them in my dad's garage lately so they have time to heal. (They're outdoor cats normally because my mom's allergic.) We've also been bringing our male cat, Jay, in with them. It just so happens that when you're locked inside a garage with four cats, you bond. You get to know them better. They get to know better. You discover their personalities. Jay can sense how I'm feeling- that's one of the cool things about cats, they can tell when you're happy or sad. They'll come over and rub on you to comfort you when you're sad or jump around playfully when you're happy. Or, sometimes when you're sitting by your cat's favorite bed, they'll bite your pants and try to pull them off. o__________o"

Puppies I love both cats and dogs! (also, it's kind of neat to like something different than everyone else ^^)

Then it's settled. A rabid, crazy, out-of-control, dangerous, horrid stray dog ripped the head of a rabbit by random.

I dont think either of them would get along with a rabbit personally

Rabid crazy out-of-control dangerous horrid stray?
Dude by "wild dogs" I meant those living in the wild.
Plus strays are not rabid, crazy, and out of control.
They are only looking for a home and someone to love them, and someone to share a companionship with.
It's really not their fault they aren't blessed with such things.
Man you really are a biased dog hater aren't you.

not all strays are lovable, some are legitimately unadoptable and have basically reverted back to a wild state, plus neilwest did not say that all strays are rabid and dangerous, only the one that may or may not have bitten off the head of your rabbit
although, a dog doesn't need to be wild and dangerous to bite off the head of a smaller animal like a rabbit - it could just be hunting. dogs are still a subspecies of wolf and many dogs are trained to hunt animals.

Some strays are rabid, crazy, and out of control.
Our neighbors next door, they con't take care of their dogs and this one, tried to bite me, our dog Gracie, and Dad! That dog is truly rabid, crazy, and out of control.
But, on the other hand, you are right.
Again, our neighbors next door had another stray, we didn't know his name, but we nicknamed him Shambles, because of the way he ran. Shambles was always coming over to our house and sitting on the front porch until we fed him. He ended up living on our front porch for about a week, then we took him to the SPCA and they found a good home for him. He was living with our other neighbor across the street!

I once saw a stray dog. It just crossed the road and passed me. I could tell it was a stray because no-one came after it.
