Yes, this is an odd topic name, but it is a hunt for a movie.
Let me explain:
My friend said that she was having a hard time sleeping at 2:00 AM, so they started flipping channels on TV. My friend claims that she eventually came across a black and white movie where this scene occured:
A short man runs up to large 8-foot tall man and says:
"Sir, the Llamas taking the border!"
The tall man then replies dramatically:
"Summon the War Alpacas!"
And then my friend changed channels and didn't remember the channel or the movie.
Now there is the possibility that my friend is crazy and just imagined this, but it may actually be a movie. Please help me try to find this movie!

Must be a pretty random movie then.
If it exists, then yes. VERY random.

The only relevant result is this very thread... ._.
Exactly why I had to open up a thread. It must be a very obscure movie... (IF it exists)

She was obviously delusional.
Your friend needs to consult mental help immediately.
Or else her well being could be compromised.
Or just dead tired. I did mention it was 2:00 AM right?
EDIT: My mistake I forgot to mention that. It's added now.

I've decided that if this movie doesn't exist, I'll just have to make it!

Sounds like my kind of movie.

Maybe it was a dream.

Which day of the week was that?
Today technically because it was 2:00 AM

Hm.
The only time I remember seeing a short man report info on a war in a film would be the movie of "Yellow Submarine", which could very well contain alpacas but I have not seen the whole thing.
However, this is an animated color film.
Also, it's not particularly good.

Well, if you're on Google Chrome, click on this, because I think I've found it.
Or not.
But someone needs to make a project for it! It would be awesome. c:

maybe they misheard
More likely that they were just half-asleep.

How many friends heard the TV saying "Summon the war Alpacas"?
I'm a bit confused, because you used "they" to refer to your friend(s).
