Just a reminder that we need all articles/reviews in for Thursday, we are waiting on every member here, so please hurry. I won't be able to manage the mag on my own!

I can do anything (that is free of course or something that I already own) that works on either my tab or my laptop. Preferably my tab.

Can you do a review of Angry Birds Star Wars please? That's free on Android I think.

Sure. Am I supposed to video record it? Or should I just write my thoughts on the game.

PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure
Platform(s): Nintendo Wii
Release date(s): 5th December 2009 (Jp)
9th July 2010 (EU)
10th November 2010 (NA)

PokéPark Wii sees Pikachu (and friends) help other Pokémon to save the PokéPark - a place where Pokémon live together. You control Pikachu, and can ThunderBolt, Dash (Quick Attack) and Iron Tail, in battle, which doesn't use the traditional style, but a more open style where you can move freely. The Pokémon you meet will ask you to play with them, either a Battle or Chase (a small amount play hide-and-seek). There are various areas, which are themed appropriately to the types of Pokémon who live there (e.g. fire and rock in a volcano). There are also attractions, which are mini-games, and you can choose some of Pokémon you have befriended, with some being better at the attraction than others.

The full story isn't very long, nor hard, but that isn't expected from this kind of game. The only properly bad point is the annoying fetch quests (especially the Bidoof ones). Pikachu isn't very strong, and his legs are very small, so when he walks, he moves incredibly slowly, which gets quite annoying.

The game, though it is short, still has a fantastic charm, with the unique (to Pokémon) battle system and lots of your favourite Pokémon, with their own personalities.

6/10

GameGuy64

I think 6/10 is fair, it is enjoyable, but not really that good of a game.

And stor, there are quite a few games that come out in Europe before America. I think sometimes there are issues in publishing in the States, for what ever reason and it may also be because some of our stuff is manufactured in Germany.

Re: Scratch Gamer Magazine-Now Hiring

Angry Birds, Star Wars
Platforms: Android, iOS, Windows, Blackberry, and Mac
Tested on Android
Release: November 8, 2012

Angry Birds Star Wars is yet another in the Angry Birds game series. The new Star Wars version includes many new birds with new abilities and levels including maps ranging from easy to hard to complete.

The games initial startup has been improved into a smoother, faster layout with new window animations. The graphics are very good, even though the tested version was not HD.  The game runs very smooth with little to no lag whatsoever, and new and improved scenery to match the theme, greatly improves the look and feel of the game.

There are many new birds, none of which are identical to any in previous versions of the Angry Bird series, however their uses remain similar. Replacing the Mighty Space Eagle which was introduced in the Space Edition, comes the new Falcon. The new falcon can be used to shoot pig bases easily and efficiently.

This game is a very good mix of Angry Birds and Star Wars, and is probably one of the most enticing Angry Birds editions ever to be produced.

Germany stop us having loads of games. You know we can only download 16 & 18+ content at midnight because of them.

Yeah...

Nintendo of Europe is based in Germany...

I don't see why it can't be like that just in Germany and not elsewhere, not that I am always downloading 16+ content anyway...  tongue

I think they're worst offensive was renaming contra to probotector, they also don't like the idea of humans fighting humans with guns, so they changed Bill and Lance, (Shwartzniger and Stallone rip-offs), to boring robots. I can't believe it took Germany to get over World War 2.

Re: Scratch Gamer Magazine-Now Hiring

I have an idea on an article on the Wii U. I saw that, on Amazon that the prices have been dropped quite dramtically. The basic is now £200 and premium is £250! This (though is quite a good thing for me, as I don't have one yet  tongue ) is quite alarming, as it says to me that they aren't selling, but it could be a mistake.

Good news for me too! Yeah, that looks like a good idea, see if you can find any other websites that are selling it cheap, I think Grainger Games is.
