Okay, smozz, the mini map is not the main source for navigation, it is merely like a real map, it shows things like troop position and the like. But we really can't fully make it yet, because that's ahead of where we are right now, we need to work on making the maps and i need to finish the main menu, which i will try to do tomorrow.
ESTILE: That's a great idea, funnymee....
TASK:
Make water warrior designs.
Also, please add to the making the warrior sprites to make at least three different designs.
FUNNYMEE: Please also make a "Textures" gallery and put the grass texture that lundfamily gave us in there.
I will not be working on the stuff today, but i will try to actually finish the main menu tomorrow.
Also, funnymee, please get me that last dust cloud when you can, remember, it should look like fog.
VYRINN: There isn't really much you missed, just a few simple things... LIKE I UPDATED THE MAIN MENU AGAIN, and this time, with two surprises. See if you can find them!

Hmm interesting. I don't mind though - mostly made that because it was interesting to work out.
Hopefully I can think of a project to use it sometime
My concern with a mini map that shows troop movements would be the size but meh. I'll wait till that point is reached then

I didn't say yours was bad, on the contrary, it's great, i was just saying that we need to establish more information to build it off of, wouldn't you agree?
TELEPORT: Great! I guess i could use the shield as a decoration, but the warrior sprites are supposed to be a whole dude, not individual weapons.

Just as a refresher, here are a few things you need to do:
- Add a texture gallery and it's link.
- Put this before the task list:
"Please post the task you want to do before you do it for the sake of not confusing anyone, and also make sure the thing you want to do is on the list. If it's not and if you still want to do it, then suggest it, and see if you can or not. That will help us and you greatly, as you will not have a doubt like, "Is someone else already doing/done this?"."

On that note, anything you need doing atm?
Can have a go at some decoration sprites if still need help on that?

ok, the beta isnt out yet so i cant post the random map genorator, but i wanted to see what people thought of how i am thinking of making it. have a cloud variable tied to the scrolling variables, so that it tells how far anyone has ever been. when someone reaches unexplored territory, it randomly selects a map, clones it, and uses a cloud variable to record its position and type, so it can recreate itself when anyone goes there again, exactly the same.

So the map will be stored in cloud list makes sense.
I don't think that a cloud variable would be needed for how far anyone has ever been as that would allow gaps (map is so large that if you had how far you'd been x and y in either direction then you'd be unlocking territory that hasn't been reached yet...like if you went around one piece of territory).
It seems like it would be more of a division thing to check which of the 768 (16x48) maps you are on and if the list says that a map isn't assigned yet then randomly assign one.
Not sure if how I said that made any sense at all XD

Also, the perspective is going to be top down.
ESTILE: That's a neat idea, and I like it, the only thing now is how to create random territories... But we will get to that later.
FUNNYMEE: You need to put smoz under "decoriation sprites".
I will try to finish the main menu today.
