About the link above ^ what do you think? Is is cool, strange, scary use of technolgy, pointless, amazing, or what? I didn't even know they did stuff like this until yesterday 0.o I guess I sorta always knew we had holograms, but I never knew they were used for something like that...

I dislike them, honestly.
I'm pretty sure they automatically generate the music?
Why not make some real music?
Oh wait I've been admin-messaged for stating my opinion on this before so I should elaborate:
Yes, it CAN sound good, and the technology behind it is all very impressive.
However, I think it lacks soul, and the idea of paying to see these cartoons feels a bit like a very strange form of idol worship.
The music isn't as "real" to me when it is computer-made, especially when the singer isn't real either.

Why would you get admin messaged for that?

I'm not sure the real reason so I'll leave that to soupoftamato but in my opinion, it's a little harsh just to say stuff like that without giving reasons. With the edit, he stated the reasons as to why he doesn't like it.

YES! That was something I've dreampt of when I was little but wouldn't it be nicer for them to actually be REAL instead of them being a hologram?

Step 1. Abandon Pokemon haters and move to Kepler-22B. Remember to take all things that have pokemon based off of them
Step 2. Now, with a whole new world, begin changing the DNA.
Step 3. ???
Step 4. Profit!

Yes, yes it is.
It's pretty weird though. It's cool, but did all those people PAY to see that?

I believe I said something about how it has no real musical contribution or thought and is a waste of time.
If I'm honest, I was rather blunt in my saying it then, not that I don't still believe it . . .

True, but I'm pretty sure only the one's at expos are free. They do have a live band, I doubt they do it voluntarily.

Well that was odd.

I would go, however I would not buy one of those overpriced DVDs. The most recent DVD of one of Hatsune Miku's concert has a retail price of $75. $75 for a recording of holographic singing? Uhh...
Then again, Aniplex USA releases a lot of overpriced stuff.

Why would you buy a DVD if you could just do what Hi5 did and go on YouTube?
