It's a known fact that cartoons have been starting to go downhill nowadays. From stupid jokes to just not being funny at all, they aren't what they used to be. However some cartoons manage to actually be decent or even good. Post what modern cartoons you think are good below!

DO NOT DARE START A FLAME WAR THOUGH. Opinions differ, and everyone should respect others.

My personal thoughts:

Gravity Falls: This show manages to combine great visuals and music, with clever writing. References everywhere make this show great for nerds, and it manages to wield randomness to good use. The story is also pretty good, because it can be serious at times. The only good disney has done in a long time is this show.

Adventure Time: I originally hated this show, but lately my brother has had me hooked. With plenty of references, the humor is usually great, and this show also does random humor rather well. This show does show its faults in small bursts of immaturity, but very small for cartoon network standards. This show also keeps a good storyline, while not nearly as serious as Gravity Falls' storyline, it manages to keep you hooked. Also this show is fairly disturbing for something on cartoon network, but that makes me love it more as it does show maturity in CN. The one really big fault though, is that the commercials do it no justice. Why? Because they show all of the immature parts.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I am not Brony, nor do I watch this show. This is only here because I can appreciate the writing and references. Not to mention the overall pretty good art style. The reason I don't hold this show in higher regard because it does from time to time remember it is a show for little girls, and that is not so great.

Adventure Time I never got. It was really weird and immature to me.

Gravity falls is pretty good.

I've always hated Adventure Time for some reason, but my friend is a total fangirl of it.

I say Regular Show goes on there, it's undoubtedly witty and pretty darn risque for a kids show.

Yeah same here. Everyone at my school loves it, but I think it's really obnoxious. Really, all it is are just 4 annoying boys who run around.

I haven't watched it much, I thought it was just gonna be another one of those Cn cartoons that are really disturbing. I have watched a couple episodes though, and it is pretty good.

I watched a couple episodes, it was actually funny, but it's not strictly for everyone. By that I mean it depends on your sense of humor: if you like swears, innuendoes, and wacky situations, then this is your show.

I don't really hate it, actually, I just don't care for it. No one at my school shows any interest in it, except for a few people I know, they're too caught up with either Family Guy, Doctor Who, or The Big Bang Theory. :P
