Oscar the Cat
Oscar the Cat is a game where the goal is to catch the mice that fall from the sky. To move around, press the right and left arrow keys. To catch a mouse, press the up arrow key when a mouse is close to Oscar. Have Fun!

Yeah, I am currently rewriting the project where instead of having limited amount of mice, you see how many you can catch before time runs out. I also need to make it where you don't have to press the up key to catch mice. The score was probably the hardest thing in the whole project, but know I guess I know how to set up a score in games.

New features for version 1.2
V1.2: Changed so pressing up arrow is no longer necessary to catch mice. Simply walk under them. Also, changed where a random amount of mice (between 10 and 15) fall from the sky.
In Oscar the Cat, you must help Oscar catch all falling mice. To move Oscar, press the left and right arrow keys. To catch a mouse, press the up arrow key when a mouse gets close to Oscar.

V1.3: Added new music. Also added walking animation for Oscar, and a new end to the game.

Brand new version 1.4 includes many bug fixes and new features. Please check it out!
V1.4: Added the all new golden mouse. The golden mouse gives 5 points if caught, but watch out! it will take away 5 points if not caught. Also changed backround color and a new Oscar logo. Have Fun!

V1.5: Changed background and Oscar logo to be less obtrusive during gameplay. Also tweaked game settings with amount of mice that fall, and the sprite textures for golden mice. Golden mice have normal mice sprites, but have a gold scarf around their neck. Also added a new jump feature for Oscar, although the jump feature is not needed for actual gameplay.

Yes it was. Although the music for the game may not be the best ever, all I needed was a simple beat with some synth. Fl Studio is about the best thing I have found for making ringtones, and game music. Now if only I could afford the full version so I can reopen projects after saving.........

New release!
V2.1 Minor Release: Changed background music (slightly remixed music from a sample song in Fl Studio). Also changed around some visual effects, including the menu screen, the end screen, and the actual game itself. As always, be sure to rate, comment, and love!
