I Wish I could be a Curator on the Scratch homepage because there are so many projects I like, and I want the world to see them.
There are many projects I like.
Like user mudnose said, there are projects that deserve to be shown on the front page, because they are so good and they are rarely seen.

I do beleive my question got buried in this massive thread so I'll ask it again. (I hope you guys don't mind answering twice!) Can somone apply to be curator more than once? (over a period of time of course.)

Well, i know thier are already many people in the lineup to be a Scratch Curator. I would like to put my name out there if that is possible, I would like to pick projects that have a positive influence on the scratch community suck as not smoking or drinking, projects against animal abuse. Also, i would like to pick projects that are very creative and demonstrate a new way to use a block, i have noticed many very good projects going unnoticed becuase thier are just so many projects on scratch, i would like to pick users that have many good and influential projects but thier projects have gone unnoticed.

Considering how massive this thread is, you may be better of asking the Scratch Team directly using the Contact Us link (probably under the main category 'Other').

I would love to be a scratch curator so many sad scratchers that believe they are not good enough can have a chance to shine on the front page. I would show really good drawings, funny things and amazing animation. I've always wondered what that 'Projects selected by__________" meant and I always thought "oh they are choosing random users to pick projects but it today i clicked on learn more. i have become very interested and i want to try so that's why I replied today. i would LOVE to be a scratch curator and I think replying to this forum i how to become one, right? correct me if I am wrong please. I want to be a curator very bad. that's why I wrote this reply. I don't like to type much but I really want this curator job. i can't stop typing i want it so bad. i really don't want to write much more. I was wondering if you could choose just any project, right? sorry this is so long but I really want this job and my hands just want to keep typing because I really want to be a curator. Please reply. Every time I finish a sentence I think of another one. So goodbye. I really want to be a curator so let me become one. All this typing is dedicated to curators and Scratch members.

Asking to be curator is helpful, but the most important criteria is that a Scratcher is a friendly and long time member of the community.

Has anyone who applied here actually gotten picked? Cause i can't find any of the curators applications here, so logically the curators don't get picked from the thread yet, instead they are going through other people who have not posted. I'd like to be one! I'd wanna put random and funny projects! Cuz I think they don't get as much views as they should! I'd also like to add Projects that last a long time bcuz some ppl are logging out after like 3 minutes!
