Sprite Help!!!

I have created a simple game where you catch things in a tube. The tube follows the mouse but how can I make the tube stay still when the balls go in because it makes it look really bad with the ball going through the side of the tube. Please ask questions if you need to, I don't always make sense.  big_smile
