What is Lego WeDo Support

I Looked at the Scratch 1.4 Release Notes and I Found something called Lego WeDo Support and I am wondering what it is so can somebody Please tell me What it is? if you could that would be great.

Lego WeDo is a robotics product put out by Lego.  It's a motor and some sensors that run from a wire plugged into your computer.  Here is a description...

It has it's own programming software...but you don't need it since you can use Scratch 1.4  smile
