Normal: Slaking (there are ways to get rid of its ability)
Fighting: Machamp
Flying: Tropius
Poison: Muk
Ground: Dugtrio
Rock: Golem
Bug: Heracross
Ghost: Sableye
Steel: Metagross
Fire: Magmortar
Water: Milotic
Grass: Megainium (because it is very awesome)
Electric: Magnezone
Psychic: Alakazam
Ice: Piloswine
Dragon: Dragonite
Dark: Hydreigon

I'm replaying Red (for like the seventeen millionth time) and here's mah team:

Ivysaur lvl. 23
Fearow lvl. 21
Clefable lvl. 24 (best one on my team, he OHKO's practically everything)
Dugtrio lvl. 31 (got incredibly lucky on this catch, not training him for a while though)

Pretty darn awesome party if you ask me, the Clefairy I found in Mt. Moon and evolved with a Moon Stone, the Dugtrio I found in Diglett's Cave (duh).

Clefable is an amazing Pokemon, by the way, his moves are Body Slam, Mega Punch, Sing, and Growl. Body Slam and Mega Punch pretty much make him unstoppable.

And yes, I'm playing the original Red, not FireRed, for once, because you guys all know how much I love FR. :P

Your Clefable might be strong until pokemon trainers with Ghost types. ( Dark types didn't exist , and maybe  i forgot maybe red didn't have the ghost type..)

Well, Haunters were in Red - I think.

And Lavender Town.

Lavender Town is in Red.

Now have the Insect (?) badge, really creative gym. The trouble was that the sewers are too much of a maze, I got lost in them.
