From what I read in the Community Portal, the admins are importing the wiki onto a different host site, and updating the version of MediaWiki.

In other words, migration and updating are causing the non-Scratch-styling.

Actually, it was the ST doing that. And it's done, but our Scratch-style skins don't work with the new version of MediaWiki.
nXIII and JSO are working on the 2.0 skin, and will enable it when it is complete.

So are there any estimations as to when that will be ready, or is it just "coming along"?

(To be honest, I actually like how it looks without styling)
