BASIS - Early Development Releases

Have you ever seen those AI systems in the movies and wished they were real ,so that you could have your own? Hi, I'm Nerdyboy0657, and my purpose on Scratch is to make that happen.

When I was very young, I was really into programming and making the computer 'do stuff'. When I discovered Scratch, I was opened up to a whole new world of opportunities. Before I knew it I was programming small games and I had put monsters, a coin system and a terrain generator into the 'Scrolling Demo'. I saw a movie that was based around an AI and thought "Why not make my own in Scratch?". I worked for about 5 hours and I had produced a basic AI. It was only sequential, and you couldn't do much with it.

Now, many years later, I have lost the original project, so I made a new, improved version: BASIS! BASIS stands for Block bASed Interaction System. It will allow you to set preferences, have a conversation, listen to music, play games and more! However, remembering all of the things you could possibly do with BASIS would be quite a task, so the BASIS manual is also under construction.

Remember, this is still in early development so new versions will come out regularly!
