Whenever I try to export my clone sprite I get an error message stating:Could not write file exprot failed...So how do I go about exporting my sprite? And why does this limitation exist?

Have you got write permissions to the directory you want to save the file to? Try sqving the file to a different location...
it is not a perms problem...I can export any non-clone sprite...It is just the clones that fail...them and the sprite that they cloned...That is why I figure it must be a restriction in BYOB/Scratch...
