Yeah, most American ratings you could subtract four years from and the kid would turn out fine.
Though my cousins have a rather bad impression of anime...they first saw me watching Haruhi, in particular the scene where Haruhi tries to get the computers by...you know what...OMG!!!! I laughed my butt off at that part! Haruhi is one of my favorite anime characters!
Heh, at least they didn't see me watching the abridged series. (Please tell me you've seen that...)
"I love scarring people for life!" xD
Not yet. I'm only on episode 13 in chronological order (as you probably know the series is aired out of order) so I have 1 episode left. But I still have to watch the movie and the 2009 thing. But some of the 2009 thing are in the order I'm watching now. I'm really confused.

No, no, no. The abridged series is a completely different thing. Look up "haruhi abridged" on YouTube (warning: some language). It's hilarious.

I'm 14, I couldn't care less about the language, but thanks. Is it okay to watch even though I haven't finished the series? And could you help me on the episode order 'cause I'm still fuzzy about the whole thing. Some how it says there's 14 episodes, then another says there's 28. Some say X comes before Y and others say Y comes X
?

I know you don't care, about the language but there might be some little kiddies lurking around. And yes, it's fine.
Also, I'm about to write a REALLY long post about the order of Haruhi, so be warned it'll be a couple minutes before I reply.

Okay, so there are two orders of Haruhi.
The broadcast order: Many fans like this order because, quote on quote, it makes the show "seem like a jigsaw puzzle". It goes in this order and is split into two seasons:
Season 1:
Episode 1: Mikuru Asahina's Adventure Episode 00
Episode 2: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya l
Episode 3: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ll
Episode 4: The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya
Episode 5: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya lll
Episode 6: Remote Island Syndrome (Part 1)
Episode 7: Mysterique Sign
Episode 8: Remote Island Syndrome (Part 2)
Episode 9: Someday in the Rain
Episode 10: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya IV
Episode 11: The Day of Sagittarius
Episode 12: Live Alive
Episode 13: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya V
Episode 14: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya VI
Season 2:
Episode 15: Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody
Episode 16: Endless Eight
Episode 17: Endless Eight
Episode 18: Endless Eight
Episode 19: Endless Eight
Episode 20: Endless Eight
Episode 21: Endless Eight
Episode 22: Endless Eight
Episode 23: Endless Eight
Episode 24: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya I
Episode 25: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya ll
Episode 26: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya lll
Episode 27: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya IV
Episode 28: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya V
The chronological order: If you require the plot to be straight, watch it in this order. It's basically one season as a whole, with seasons 1 & 2 episodes in random order thrown in.
Episode 1: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya l
Episode 2: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ll
Episode 3: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya lll
Episode 4: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya IV
Episode 5: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya V
Episode 6: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya VI
Episode 7: The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya
Episode 8: Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody
Episode 9: Mysterique Sign
Episode 10: Remote Island Syndrome (Part 1)
Episode 11: Remote Island Syndrome (Part 2)
Episode 12: Endless Eight
Episode 13: Endless Eight
Episode 14: Endless Eight
Episode 15: Endless Eight
Episode 16: Endless Eight
Episode 17: Endless Eight
Episode 18: Endless Eight
Episode 19: Endless Eight
Episode 20: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya l
Episode 21: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya ll
Episode 22: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya lll
Episode 23: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya IV
Episode 24: The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya V
Episode 25: Mikuru Asahina's Adventures Episode 00
Episode 26: Live Alive
Episode 27: The Day of Sagittarius
Episode 28: Someday in the Rain
Note on the Endless Eight episodes: This is considered by fans as the worst arc of Haruhi, since it is essentially eight episodes of the exact same thing with only minor differences thrown in. It is important to watch some of it though, so if you don't want to watch all eight, only watch the first, second, and last Endless Eight episodes.
Also, before watching the movie, you must have to have at least watched the episode "Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody".
(Finally done!)

Geez! Wow, thank you so much for clearing that up
you have no idea how much I appreciate it! Although I do have one question: with chronological order, why is there season two mixed in with it? Is it put in randomly or is it actually supposed to be there to have the plot make sense? (I hope what I just said made sense; I don't really have any other way of wording it.)

It's intended to be there to have the plot make sense. (For example, multi-part episodes coming right after each other instead of being spaced out several episodes.)
I actually copied most of that from a picture I have saved on my computer for whenever I decide to finally watch more Haruhi.

Oh. I use Yahoo. Have you tried using a Mailinator email? It's free disposable email. You can just enter the email as "__________ (insert whatever you want there)@mailinator.com" and then you go to the website and type in whatever you put and you'll get the email.

Yeah, that's it. You just type in the email you want to check at the side. It doesn't require signup or anything. I use it all the time when I don't want to use my real email or my real email doesn't work on something for some reason.

You're welcome. The only thing is some forums block it because according to them "it promotes spam." MyAnimeList thankfully doesn't block it though
