Okay. And yes, it is good; it's mildly ecchi, if you didn't think Keroro Gunsou was ecchi then this is pretty tame.

oops, that was more than 40 min  tongue , sorry.

I love Death Note! It's one of my faves! I haven't read it, so I don't know what it's like compared to the show, but I do love the show sooooo much! I'm on episode 15 right now! And one other thing: every voice actor is in Fullmetal Alchemist, everyone knows Fullmetal Alchemest, and in every stinkin' recommendation is Fullmetal Alchemist! Can someone please tell me what it's about and what's so great about it?

Only the best anime/manga of the 2000's.

Sypnosis: The rules of alchemy state that to gain something, one must lose something of equal value. Alchemy is the process of taking apart and reconstructing an object into a different entity, with the rules of alchemy to govern this procedure. However, there exists an object that can bring any alchemist above these rules, the object known as the Philosopher's Stone. The young Edward Elric is a particularly talented alchemist who through an accident years back lost his younger brother Alphonse and one of his legs. Sacrificing one of his arms as well, he used alchemy to bind his brother's soul to a suit of armor. This lead to the beginning of their journey to restore their bodies, in search for the legendary Philosopher's Stone. (from MyAnimeList)

I'm 11. I only watched the first four episodes and it didn't seem all THAT bad, or does it get more ecchi over time?

My parents let me watch PG-13 movies and it didn't seem much above PG-13.

I think PG-13 is perfectly fine for 11 year olds, but this....It's TV-14...some websites say it's MA so I'm not quite sure which one it is, but it's between those two. So here's what's going on here: A) either you've been exposed to really, really, really ecchi stuff so it makes Chobits look like nothing. B) your mature for your age so you just see it as normal and don't really care. Or C) you're just still too young to see how ecchi it is. Like have you ever watched a show when you were little, then ten years later you watch it again and see how wrong it actually is, just you were too young to notice it before? That's what I mean. So you're probably either A, B, or C  O.o I could be totally off. I'm wrong a lot. But when it comes to this, I'm usually right....

Well, I watched JesuOtaku's Eiken review, in which she reviews an ecchi OVA in quite graphic detail (as graphic as YouTube will allow). The only real ecchi thing in Chobits I saw was Chi's switch.

Also, the old DVDs say ages 16+, but the official rating from FUNimation is TV-14.

Well, uh...

...I did get some of those. But you considered Keroro Gunsou, with similar things, 2% ecchi, so I thought that some of those things wouldn't count under ecchi for you.

I haven't seen more than a couple clips and openings of Keroro Gunsou. I asked you what's ecchi about it, you told me the bath scene, I looked it up, saw it wasn't ecchi at all, thought that was it. So was that not the ecchiest part of the show?

NOTE: I'll probably edit this too once you see it.

Oh, I thought you had watched/read a bit of it.

Well, ahem, one of the characters repeatedly watches girls showering and sells the footage of them on the Internet...also, episode 18 is full of guys trying to creep up on Natsumi because she was hit with a ray to make her look more like an adult, making it look like she has bigger...

I'm actually shocked it's rated TV-Y7/TV-PG.

TV-PG? Are you serious? And this brings us right back to: Americans are so much more cautious with ecchi stuff (which is kinda understandable since everyone is growing up so fast now) Alright so that brings it up to maybe 70% ecchi  tongue

I know, I noticed something crazy; on Mangafox, they say the manga is rated Mature and you must confirm your age to view it (which is crazy in my opinion), right after they say it won an award for best children's manga. xD

I'd actually say it's shonen, it was rated Teen when it was released in America but the ecchi was censored, I put the first chapter in one of my Scratch 2.0 projects and had to do a bit of editing.

Omg what is this? There's a huge difference between kodomo and seinen; they need to pick a side. XD

I'd actually say it's shonen, it was rated Teen when it was released in America but the ecchi was censored, I put the first chapter in one of my Scratch 2.0 projects and had to do a bit of editing.

I find it hilarious that teen in america = shounen in japan XD

I know, I read (or rather, used to read, R.I.P) Shonen Jump, and it's rated Teen despite having children's series like Yu-Gi-Oh and Naruto in it.

Yeah, most American ratings you could subtract four years from and the kid would turn out fine.

Though my cousins have a rather bad impression of anime...they first saw me watching Haruhi, in particular the scene where Haruhi tries to get the computers by...you know what...

Heh, at least they didn't see me watching the abridged series. (Please tell me you've seen that...)
