SPACE WAR - New 2-player arcade game
Be among the first to play my new 2-player arcade game
SPACE WAR
This is an "old school" arcade game. I put MANY quarters into a similar machine at my local arcade when I was a kid.
This is based on the Asteroids game by user SonicPopsDad.

It's a great game but the asteroids don't explode when I shoot them. Is that a problem within the code, or is it a problem on my side?

I based this game on Asteroids by SonicPopsDad. I had to change the asteroids so that they wouldn't break apart when shot. I did this so that you would always have something to avoid and hide behind while trying to shoot your opponent.
It is working as designed.

Just a quick update today.
I added some extra keys for firing. Player one can now use S or F to fire and Player two can use L or down arrow.
This should make single-handed play easier.
