How To Clean Up The Stage

We are working thru the "Super Scratch Programming Adventure" book. The "Magic Star Web" created in Chapter 1 is staying on the stage as if it were a sprite. We can't get the star to go away!

Well, i've never even heard of that book, but are you wanting to know how to switch the Back Ground to white?

What exactly is your goal?

Sounds more like a Pen issue to me....Try going to the Pen category and locating the Clear block.  Click on it - it will erase any marks made by the Pen or Stamp blocks.
