I listened to Justice's Planisphére, but that only lasts a mere seventeen minutes compared to that!

Length isn't really a good thing to judge something on.
That's probably why everyone likes really, really short pop (four minutes, seriously?).

Can we stop going off-topic? I really don't see a problem with a seven-and-a-half minute rock song; geez, there are bands with much, much longer stuff, definitely over half an hour even, for crying out loud. This is really no basis for argument.

Also, the music I listen to generally has songs that last 2-5 minutes.
I do not judge it on length, like I said, its not fast enough.

Um, four minutes is generally pretty long for music, not really, really short

You've clearly never listened to Pink Floyd.

Thanks for clearing that up. Length is by no means a way to judge a song.

Right. The song 'Echoes' is a 23-minute long epic that stands as one of the best songs in the Floyd's catalog.
Meanwhile, let's take the Beatles' "Hey Jude", which is about the same length as "Ellipsis", and is considered one of the greatest songs of all time.
Length is but a number, it's more or less about how much gets done inside that timespan.
