Me and iaomeur are collaborating! Please don't post on this thread unless you are iao.

What I'm thinking we should do:

A fantasy RPG. I want to do one and always had but until now I've never had the graphic experience. I am now pretty good at pixel art and would really like to work on an RPG.

So what do you think?

TO-DO-LIST
Come up with a name
Design a main menu
Design main character
Create walking costumes for main character
Animate main character
Make enemies
Make enemy engine
Design all backgrounds
Come up with a story (are we?)
Animate story (if we have a story)
Figure out controls for main character
Make walking engine
Find/design NPC's (Non-player characters)
Put it all together

Green=Complete
Amber=Incomplete/In progress
Red=Not started

Well I guess I could be part of it...

Programming level Ok with platformers and animations and stuff...(6/10)
Graphics level Good with animating sprites and editing. I also just started learning pixel art... (7/10)
Activeness Only active after school 15:00-19:00 but in that time I'm very active and also on weekends... (7/10)

Reason why I want to join: I love your projects and you love pixel art just like me...

Yeah I'm not amazing but I'm an alright person for the job! XD

I would also like to do an RPG game. I've always wanted to make one of my own! I've just started learning pixel art so maybe the characters (if there are any) could be made pixel art style?

Maybe we should start with a name for the game or a theme? What would you like to do?

Well, the only art I'm good at is pixel art, so I think that's what we're doing. xD

I am making some more sprites right now that we can use. Here is the project that I will update.

Anyway, I was thinking of making a adventure/side-scroller thing. Tell me if you don't agree but I just liked the look of this project.

Oh yeah. I know and really like that project! It's pretty good! But I think they stopped making it. sad

I will use the sprites from my other project, but I just made a new project just for the sprites only we will use.

So that is the official sprite project, right? So what do do think the game will be like, do you want it to be like Pixiana or something completely different?

I was thinking instead of Pixainia's squarish world, this will not be made of blocks. It will be like Pixel Quest by fulldroid.

The layout. Instead of blocks, it's just ground with a horizon line.

That sounds like an AWESOME idea! If you're ok with it of course... Maybe we could use a bit of Bod's storyline? You can chose the name because I don't mind any, they're all great!

I think 16:00 GMT would be about 9:00am for me. I'm normally online around 9:30am.
