I'm writing on an iPad right now
Maybe the scratch team could sacrifice a part where you can view projects and simply make a developing app instead? This would be really fun and you could create projects on the go and then upload them when you have wi-fi.
Theres only one problem though, on the iPad there. Is no mouse and most of the time no keyboard. They would have to adapt to that and that would be weird if both types of projects were on the scratch website. ( iPad or computer )

Scratch for any iOS device would be absolutely great. It would be excellent on the iPad because it has a big screen, whereas on the iPod/iPhone it woul be a bit fiddly.
Here's an interesting question: is it possible to build a small version of Scratch using Scratch? (It would probably end up in a million sprites an scripts.)
I agree. Scratch running on smaller iOS devices (iPhone and iPod Touch) would be a little weird and cramped. If Scratch was to release an app on iOS, I think it would work best on an iPad.

I would also love Scratch on the iPad but the iPad dose not have the same keyboard, mouse, or arrow keys witch are needed for most games that are made on scratch.
You can use an on-screen keyboard, and touch to click, and slide to drag. But while you are dragging, your finger would cover the screen, which is difficult for games where you would drag the character to collect or avoid things, etc.
However, stuff that follows the mouse would need to be dragged by the player which might not work well. Things that chase the player wouldn't work at all.
So it would kinda work.
Also, be careful about posting on old topics that haven't been posted on in a while; make sure the topic is still relevant.
