Because "Slender" wasn't bad enough.
Yep. That's right, people. Jeff has an indie horror game, too.
And guess what?
Now everyone is calling him "Ghost Killer".
I'm so done.

youre like a special brand of hipster
every indie game containing a creepypasta character is just automatically terrible
however i will agree that jeff is the right name and "ghost killer" is a silly thing to call him

Plus have you seen the game?
The Jeff sprite looks like a 5-year-old's drawing.

you still shouldnt criticize people for their personal representations of characters

NOOOOOO they are f***ing up everything, it's bad enough everyone thinks slenderman is from slender, now this is ridiculas.
i still dont see what peoples' problem is with the nickname "slender"
"slender" is hardly a strech from "slender man" and you all call him "slendy" anyway

No I meant everyone only knows him and recongnizes him from Slender, not a nickname.
When ever slenderman is mentioned in my life the game slender appears aswell.
No one seems to know him outside of the slender game.

+1
This is the point I'm trying to get across.
And now it's happening to Jeff.

I'm fine with a Jeff game actually.
It's the name that bothers me.
"Illusion Ghost Killer"?
Plus I have a classmate who like preaches every day about Jeff and how Slendy is overrated. He's basically obsessed with creepy pasta but he's a nice dude and one of my friends.

But i like Slender

My friend never said he hated it he just thinks he's overrated and gets annoyed whenever someone is unaware of Slendy being from the internet since '06.
Also he's constantly tried to get one of my other friends to read the original Jeff story:
My Friend: Okay [insert other friends real name] you have to read Jeff the killer.
Me: Yeah dude you have to so much better than Slenderman.
Other Friend: Okay okay okay.
NEXT DAY
My Friend: Okay did you read it.
Other Friend: Aw darn it I forgot.
My Friend: Pssh yeah right.
NEXT DAY
My Friend: Did you read it?
Other Friend: I didn't have time.
Me: Dude you're just freaking afraid.
Other Friend: No no no I'm not trust me.

Haha. I dread the day creepypasta becomes super-mainstream.

Honestly I'm not sure what you people are whining about.
Personally I am not bothered at all by creepypasta becoming "mainstream", I think it's actually kind of good. Then these sort of characters and conversations won't be restricted to the internet and to hipsters. It's actually a good thing to have some form of media be slowly transgressing into the mainstream. That's how fads develop, they start someplace and end someplace else.
Again though I wish that they wouldn't have such a name like "Illusion Ghost Killer" that sounds pretty stupid.

Plus, it doesn't get people into actual creepypasta.
Just indie horror games.

Cycle of Internet, I suppose, something is cool until everyone knows about it.
Just kidding, I'm not that bad.
But I feel as though if creepypasta became known we could start losing the really grasping ones like Jeff, Slenderman, Ben, John the wither skeleton (one I actually made on creepypasta) Then again there may be some new great ones, so I suppose everyone on this forum is right.

No no no it's fine it's good if some internet peeps play it and it gets popular. Plus pewdiepie wouldn't have been the first, there are tons of others who've already posted videos.

Well, thanks for showing us this! I've been looking for a Jeff game for a long time. It looks alright, but he seems to pop up from NOWHERE.
But I have to agree with you about Jeff's model. It is terrible.
