Playstation 4
On 2/20, Sony will have a big event regarding the "future of Playstation". This is almost assured to be the reveal of the PS4, and that will mean the next generation of gaming eill be closer than we thought.
Discuss the event, the console, and the games.

I'm pretty exited to see what the ps4 is all about, and see how far off the rumors were.

(/offtopic) Bungie's new game, Destiny, is gonna be revealed today! (/offtopic)
Ontopic, I saw whar is beleved to be the PS4's controller.
It looks like a normal Dualshock controller, but it has a small touchpad and a "share" button (what the heck is that?). It looks pretty cool.

When they said touchscreen on it, I thought it was going to be a Wii U ripoff. But it turns out it's just a tiny little screen!

Personally I'm really excited for it, it doesn't seem to be a blatant ripoff of the Wii U, and with some (hopefully) nice launch titles and a good price I should be sold.

If PS4 has support for PS3 games, and also supports future architectures such as 4K resolution and 3D gaming, I would be interested.

I'm watching the livestream...1/2 hour 'till the event starts! I'm definitely excited about the event, and I hope the system is great since I have a PS+ membership.

Good point! And actually, this generation of gaming (console gaming wasn't specified )began with the 3ds, which I got on launch day in March 2011 (Feb. in Japan).

It looks pretty nice. I like the little touchpad on the controller. I'm probably not going to get one though, because I have a Wii U and I'm guessing the PS4 will be pretty pricey.
If you want something to do while Scratch is down, check out tbgs.tk! It's the new version of the (closed) Scratch TBGS, run by Scratchers! I'm going to spend most of my time there, anyway.

It looks nice, but I'll think I'll wait until a couple of years. Mainly because I just got a PS3 for my birthday.
