Text is clear when text color is not...

In the Scratch program, The text isn't there when I type!!! Has anyone seen this before and/or can help me with this?

Maybe it's the disappearing text bug?

No, it isn't sarcasm: the disappearing text bug is a commonly known issue with earlier version of Scratch.
