How come the scratch team can't fix the newest projects yet?

What are you seeing for problems?  New Projects not showing up on the Front Page?  Something else?  Please let us know  yikes

It's not always easy to fix things, sometimes the problems are huge, or sometimes they aren't on Scratch at the time.

im pretty sure i could fix it though, i think they should delete all the lagging projects (lets hope people save them XD) and then let it refresh with the actual newest projects. thats just one of  my suggestiojns

yah! my projects never show up on newest projects anymore! and yet the projects I see are like half an hour old!

To improve the performance of the site we decided to take a snapshot of the newest project every hour or so and display that until the next snapshot is taken. This is called caching. This has helped make the site more stable and it's here to stay.  This has been like this for a while now. I would not necessarily consider it as something that needs to be fixed though.

Is troubleshooting called that because you're 'shooting' A.K.A. getting rid of the trouble? This question isn't thread related but I don't think it deserves it's own thread so I put it here.

Yes, that where the term comes from.  And that is what this forum is all about...reporting troubles with the website or the Scratch program or your own projects.
