Attracting forum spammers to honeypot

A while ago, I ran a forum, but then I decided to shut it down. However, I kept the software running, and soon found the dead forums plagued with spambots. However, I decided to take advantage of that and report the IPs of the spammers to anti-spam sites. I currently catch like 50 spammers a day. Does anyone have any advice on how to attract even more?

I noticed that they seem to attack inactive forums.

I ran a forum board on my website once and it got attacked by spammers. I don't think it would be possible for a human to create so many accounts and posts... but they were from different IP addresses. Maybe they use bots that create new accounts and post through a proxy server.  tongue
