A few weeks ago, I reported something on scratch using user names. Then, the ST edited my post and put a moderator note that I have questions about. First of all, I will put in the note.
Moderator Note - I've replaced the actual names in the above paragraph. Please don't use real names when reporting problems in the forums as it can seem like you are attacking them and bringing negative attention to them. Instead, use the Flag feature to report it to the Scratch Team, or use the Contact Us form (at the bottom of every page). Thanks!
Now, I have a few questions about this.
Moderator Note
But it says that Paddle2see edited my post. Paddle2see is a admin, so how could the note be from the moderators? Could it be that the moderators also viewed my post?

Can you report them using their names in a NICE WAY?
Instead, use the Flag feature to report it to the Scratch Team
I heard that some scratchers say that even if they flag a COPIED project, they recieve an admin message saying that they flagged it for the wrong reason! If that is so, then why should we report it if the ST will only send a message saying that you flagged it for an incorrect reason?

It seems you are putting way too much weight on the fact that a mod edited your post. I've seen you post on a bunch of topics about it. Don't, they always have the best of intentions.
To answer your questions, no, generally, the mods don't tolerate mentioning Scratcher's usernames at all unless it's like, "Hey have you seen so-and-so, they haven't been on." Or, if you are directly addressing the Scratcher.
As for the flagging, If it's really a copy, than just flag it again and say it was a direct copy.
Hope this helped!

I posted a lot topics? That was I think only 2.
Problem about the flagging is, on the first round, they send you a message. If you flag it again, and the ST still does not listen, they would give you an account ban. That is something to watch out for. A account ban is something that scratchers definetly would NOT want.
But thanks for your reply.

Why not try contacting the Scratch Team via email using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page? That way, you can tell them exactly why you think the project is inappropriate. Make sure you add a link to the project you are talking about, and probably the project it is a duplicate of.
