How do i past large amounts of text in my project
pls help, its for a school project.

I'm afraid you can't copy/paste into Scratch. 
Or at least, I never figured it out. 
What you can do though, is paste the text into a program such as paint, save it as an image, and import it into scratch. It takes a bit of effort, but it's still doable. 
Also, With a large amount of text, you'll have to paste in readable chunks instead of one and done. The Scratch screen is too small for mass sums of words.

You can paste! Copy the text from wherever you're copying from, then go to Scratch paint editor, press T, and with your mouse inside the canvas, press either Ctrl+V on Windows or Cmd+V for Mac.

Just do ctvl- v, it works on all programs that have a different rightclick menu.
