there was this weird spanish video
it's some bad cgi
and you just have these sketches
there's like this mouse on an ocean who lands in chess land and rides horses and rescues the princess
and the old man spinning in the air
it was cool

Totoro. Used to watch it in Chinese with Chinese subtitles. It didn't matter if I didn't understand it though- the pretty lights moving around on the screen were good enough for me :P
Also, VCRs. They practically don't exist anymore. I used to watch old recordings of Scooby Doo on them C:
And if you don't know what Totoro is...
Don't worry, I saw My Neighbor Totoro. Even if I am of the male race, I can honestly say he was a super cute furry fuzzball of lovelyness.

Yes I have created a nostalgia topic! The Underrated Topic was turning into more of a nostalgia thread so I made this. Discussify anything that was from your childhood and was important to you!
I just found my old VHS tape of Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (if you don't know what that is then you obviously did not have a childhood).
I've seen it and know what it is
But that's somewhat rude man
As for nostaliga
Thinking A Phantom Menace was the best Star Wars
which is more simply nostalgia than something still good which I am nostalgic about

Twas a joke twas a joke. I wouldn't have expected a bunch of people of these forums to know what it is anyway since it's populated by many many 11 year olds (no I don't mean that in a rude way, again in a jokey way).

I actually saw that one first due to me insisting to watch it in chronological order back then.
Also another nostalgic Star Wars memory was my dad always skipping the part in Revenge of the Sith where Anakin gets burned up by the lava and is being operated on. Ahh the good times of seeing my first PG-13 film...

Well you sort of can, it doesn't always have to be like you grew up in the nineties. My sister did and said it was awesome and would share a whole bunch of her memories with me, and then made me watch a whole bunch of nineties movies. I remember watching Aladdin on VHS with her when I was really young.

i know that, but i dont feel all that sentimental about anything from my early childhood which sort of eliminates the possibility of nostalgia

So how old are you now, then? 14 or 15, I'd guess.
Hey maybe in 10 years or so you can be nostalgic about Homestuck.
Oh who else here remembers playing with cap guns? :D
Also I seriously wish I was born in the 90s (well technically I was but it was late 90s and I didn't really experience it much), but I got to experience a lot of 90s things because my sister passed them all down to me. :3
