Ok, basically I am making tutorials on art, because a lot of Scratchers have been spamming me with sad faces saying it isn't fair that I can do XYZ but they can't figure out how... O.O (Stop spamming me. Seriously, I will keep deleting it. Just ask politely for a...)
TUTORIAL!

Okay. So, basically for know I am teaching how to use these programs:
Pixlr
GIMP
Sumo-Paint

At least two tutorial will be released each week, with a different version for each program. The main topics covered:
Digital Art
Anime
Manga
Pixel Art
Animation
Developing your Own Style
Turning X into Y (E.g. Human -> Na'vi)
User Request

All will be uploaded on Scratch 1.4 so that new users can view the projects. All tutorials will NOT require anything that needs payment (no PS, special brushes, etc.)

However, I need YOUR help. Each week I will always do at least one User Request and one "lesson". I need user requests. Please select a style, pose, and object, and will show you how to make it.

Hey there! I just downloaded GIMP and have no idea how to use it but it looks like a nice software to use. Do you do pixel art? If so please help me learn how to do it!

Pixel Art =
Drawing pixel by pixel, using a pencil tool. You use different technics for shading, and limit yourself to colors at the very beginning. smile

Obviously plans could change. I am trying to get my Manga Character tutorial to work for Sumo-Paint. Safari crashes whenever I try to take a screenshot (I know why, and how to fix it). The Pixel Art tutorial should be finished soon. I just need to figure out the tool setting for Pixlr. ^^
And obvously, the GIMP tutorial could be a bit, as there is a lot of tools to cover. So that might be in 2-3 parts.

Pixel art is usually found in RPG's and stuff, it sometimes has a lot of detail made from tiny dots...

Also, example of 2/2.5D Pixel Art is Mario. ^^ I need to finish up something, and then I can hopefully upload both of your guy's tutorials. ^^
