We need a DINOSAUR mob.Shadow of the Colossus style?
But anyway, this is something that has somewhat-slightly annoyed me about Minecraft; people always assume that Minecraft is set before human civilizations because there are no big cities or electronics. If you were stranded in the middle of the wilderness, would you expect to find cities, or be able to make complex circuitry (beyond redstone)? Yeah, this was going to be a rant. Too lazy.Couldn't you just have fossils to 'Ressurect'?

This is being updated soon.
Have fun.

If I could remove jungles, snow biomes, and all water biomes (lake, river, ocean, etc.) I'd stick to worlds more often.
What's wrong with snow biomes and water biomes (ocean ones I can understand, although I do feel that they offer something that you would notice if they were removed)?
Complete land with no breaks, and no snowdeserts.
Snow Forests are good, though. Also, water biomes create a very nice feeling to the game. Lakes and rivers, at least. Oceans should be shrunk IMO.

Remember the world height mod from 1.7.whatever? I want all worlds to be like that. 1,200 block high mountains, oceans that go down 400 blocks and still have 100 blocks of stone and ores under them, etc.

Agreed.

did anyone see that one mod for 1.7.3 that added new methods of destruction and made destroyed blocks rigid bodies and made blowing up TNT even more fun?

this is probably the best mod ever

Nah.
I'd have to say MineRPG combined with Tale of Kingdoms and that other town mod.

I have to say, that mod scares me a little. It's like Minecraft 2.0
yes
too bad it's for beta 1.6.6

Hey, I 've been working on a Minecraft calculator (to be followed with more computers in thr future) and was wondering if anyone here has any experience doing so? So far I think I have the module needed for binary addition. It takes three inputs and spits out two outputs. I should just need to wire those in series to create an adding machine. (dimension wise this node is about 20*30 or so (I can check the measurements tomorrow) and needs to be repeated for each bit of computing you want. I'll work on some diagrams tomorrow and scan them. I had pre-build diagrams digitally drawn and lacking detail, I'll make a better ne on paper outlining the system.

didn't someone make a graphing calculator in minecraft once
i challenge you to make one regardless

Hmm... It would be pretty difficult. The biggest problem with graphic displays in MC is the lack of insulation available. It's simply not possible to have a display of RS components, but I do have a concept that could work. It would be less of a screen and more of a 12*whatever printout.

I've build a calculator that can add before (complete with a display).
EDIT: Sorry wrong account. I'm majormax but my sister always leave her scratch logged in on MY WINDOWS ACCOUNT.

But yeah I designed it and built it in MC. Probably could have made it more compact but whatever.

Nice. For the moment its only function will be binary addition, but I hope to expand it later with some seven-segment displays and more functions.

Update: I completed it (for now). It does 8 bit addition (up to 255) and all IO is in binary.

Isn't it a pain to make that in minecraft? An 8 bit adder takes 144 gates!
I read a book about relays and transistors so I know quite a bit about about binary operations.
