Does Scratch offer an "about me" page?
Are active Scratchers allowed any type of "about me" page or similar area to post a description of what is being offered, or is it simply through the description for each project? I guess I'm thinking along the lines of an eBay store which in that context allows users to "display" and describe their offerings.

No, but you can introduce yourself through a project or the project notes. You can also type in things where you enter your location on your profile. Some people have done that, I've noticed.

There will be an actual "about me" section on your profile page in 2.0. While it's not an entire page, it is a place tell people about yourself.

Oh, and on top of that, there's also a "what I'm working on" section, which you could use easily to show what's "being offered." I hope this helps.
