Me, Belkin, Twigmen, Torler, Bobswag, blaze, and others did some Wither ownage:

first, one wither. died in 20 seconds.
Then, two. About 30 seconds.
Then 5. About 2 minutes.
And then. 10.
About 4 minutes to own them all. And all the withers tagteamed me. xD

I've been on some other servers, the people are mean and they don't act like human beings, and admins come on very rarely or never, and don't act like people either. Community is rare in non-Scratch servers.

yeah, it's strange how much being on scratch can make you a more respectable person 

on other non-scratch servers, no-one (well almost no-one, and only if they know you well) says hi when you join, people just do their own thing, but with scratch servers everyone's talking to each other and being nice

I went on a large-scale PvP server once (just to see how it is) and 2 people joined for the first time while I was on. Only 1 mod was on, and he was the only one welcome the new players. I joined in with my usual "Welcome! :3". I found it quite awkward that I was the only non-Staff player to welcome people to the server.    After the second new person was welcomed by the dynamic duo, a player who had been quite rude through the chat got annoyed and told me to...

...well,  I can't tell you what he said but he basically told me to shut up because I wasn't an OP. I only said one thing: "Hey, you're not OP either." 

Just giving every applicant the 'moderator test,' where I put them in a few scenarios and ask them what they'd do in that situation. Done JamieA350, CoolScrawl, Evie1511, JJabba and M_Blox, still need to do SuperScratcher, darkwrath505, NomoMine and minecalebdigger.

Also, today is the last day of voting, so if you want to, remember to put all the applicants in order from your first chance to last. The applicants are above. ^

Moderators will hopefully be chosen on the 14th.
