Yeah, we need a map restore... The server lags too much now.  Also, plugin suggestion: CoreProtect.  It allows inspection (/co inspect) and also rollback.

If I remember correctly, cassie said that every 6 hours the sever automatically backs up and it can only hold 10 at a time. That means that after a grief, she and gabric only have 2 1/2 days before the damage is permanent. A possible solution to this is that every now and then, cassie should do a manual backup to restore as a last resort. Another idea is to back up the server every 6 hours only counting the time that there are people online. For example, if Cassie goes on vacation and every one is bored without her(or something like that) a griefer cant exploit the fact that he can permanently damage the server if nobody can fix it in 2.5 days.

Is the server up yet?

i'm unable to get a connection to the server (also, what happened to AC?)

I think it's down.  It lags so much due to lava and tnt that it's hard to tell.

I think cassie should restart those worlds.

Or put the server in antigrief mode like last time in like august.

As much as I hate to say it, yes, please restart flat and end.

Not so fast - It may be applicable to open a second flat world, //copy stuff that should be kept like AHATS if it still exists, the extended village, etc - and then //paste it into the new world.

Yea, but its too laggy in the flat world to do that since it seems that the griefer worldedited an astronomically large body of tnt and lava and blew it up.

This griefing was (in my opinion) done to get an emotional reaction.  This person knows the server in real life, and was not banned prior to this event.

People often grief out of boredom, not just for revenge or because their real life is pathetic. They grief because they are bored and like Geono said, are lookin for a reaction.

Yes, keeping it down is exactly what the griefer wants.  You could set up a temporary flat/overworld while you fix them or give them out for fixing...
