I wrote the hardest violin concerto ever: jvvg Violin Concerto No. 1 in B Flat Minor and F Minor.
It is a concerto, although I only wrote the orchestra part for a piano - there is no full orchestra version available.
It is in the keys of B Flat Minor and F Minor, ending in F Major.
The tempo ranges from adagio to presto assai (quarter note = 500).
It is the hardest violin concerto written by any composer ever. The fast tempo in some places, the long jumps (up to 2 octaves) and the key combined make this extremely difficult.

Paganini's Caprice no. 24 is harder.

Is it harder than the "Presto Assai" (quarter note = 500) sections of mine?

Have you listened to it?
Speed doesn't always equal difficulty; your notes are spaced rather close together compared to Paganini's.

In some parts, I have notes spaced over an octave apart.

Still harder...not to mention more musically advanced.

If you don't play violin then how do you know it's unplayable?
I have a friend who does (and is very good) who looked at it. In this case, it isn't that hard to tell it's unplayable.

And what about this on violin? Try play this!

Unplayability is not difficulty, it is impossibility.
I suppose technically you could define Impossibly as 'extremely difficult to a length that is un-performable by man', but I wouldn't consider it being a hard song.
Anyone can slap a bunch of notes on a staff and say 'the tempo is at 500 bpm!!!!'. But if you ask me, they are not entitled to say 'I made a hard, complex violin concerto'.
Just my opinion though

yeah
like, you could just write a concerto that has nothing but eight note chords at 800 bpm with only sixteenth notes but it wouldn't necessarily be something to be proud of

Calm down, people! (although you may not all be people, as this is the internet; on the internet, nobody knows you're a dog, so I'm sorry if I offended anyone who's not a person) I didn't mean to start a huge controversy over this, I just wrote an violin concerto recently (and all the violin players I know tell me it's unplayable), and I wanted a post that people would actually read.
