Will we all be New Scratchers again? 

A suggestion: Make in the AT's, MAC and RAP (MC server and video game creation and general discussion maybe), Collab and Announcements have some way of being 'flagged' for transfer, keeping the active projects.

I don't think there's any need to go to those lengths...we are planning to keep the old forums around for reference (read only - not making new posts) for some period of time after the transition.  As for active topics...that could be a bit awkward.  You might make a new topic in the new forums with a link back to the old topic on the old forums to maintain the continuity for a while.  Or, just make a synopsis of the old information and post it again in the new forum.

And yes, if you were a Scratcher on the old forums, you will still be a Scratcher on the new forums

You could just make a creepypasta thread in the 2.0 forums when the MaC and RaP sections are installed.
