Okay, I'm getting bored with this thing. No offense iaoumeur but you're sorta OVER active. Yes, you just might be the only one doing work cause I'm SUPER busy and won't be active till like Tuesday. I have to go visit my grandparents and other family so...

Also, in the other collab I'm in we advertise it so maybe I'll fix a link. (lol! Link)

Lol ok, I don't see anything wrong with being OVER-ACTIVE but anyway have fun at your grandparents and I guess I'll just do stuff...

Do you need some more scripters? I'd be happy to help, and I know a bit about Zelda.

Actually, I think they are fine making this Zelda game, because they are not trying to make money off of the finished game. They will not sell merchandise or stuff like that, so I believe that it's fine. It's just a game based off of the Zelda series. As long as they don't make any money off of it, it's just fine.

Well, i agree, but the same went for those making pacman games and they got taken down, so I'm not so sure...

I think, like you do, if they're not selling it or doing something with it the owner(Nintendo)
doesn't want, they are fine, but the pacman example shows otherwise. 

I was going to make a pacman game, but when i heard about the copyright conflict, i backed out.

Hi, CAA14! I've heard nothing of the projects being taken down because they infringe copyright. Plenty of projects (most of them), have copyrighted material, and all of them still stand. I'm sure that Nintendo would be fine if they saw a fan game and, as Nomolos said, as long as it is not sold, it is not breaking any laws. Lastly, this website is quite informal (as most of the users are children), so you you don't need to sign off every post with regards.

I totally agree, it is STUPID that they would take down projects like this, but I'm not the STUPID one, I'm trying to warn y'all and i don't appreciate such treatment.

Like i said, i think y'all are doing a great job and I'd love to see this project finished, but apparently big companies like nintendo or namco have dedicated employees to make sure their work is not copied(which would make since, but i think doing it on scratch is a little to far).

I think you are thinking about the whole Sega taking down videos on YouTube thing, the difference is the people made money off it, it's not done by kids which they don't need to worry about and YouTube is a massive beast of a website with billions of users, no a tiny website where kids learn to program. If anything, companies will be encouraging this because some people on this website could grow up to become their future employies.

Ok thank you for raising the point but I don't think Nintendo will mind us using The Legend of Zelda. In fact I think they will encourage it because we are making it more popular (hopefully) and scratch isn't that big as a website... I also think we will say it's based on the original series...

Can we resolve this issue now?
